The latest edition to the front of the campus is still not operational. At the January Board of Trustee's meeting, Richard Parrish, vice president of planning and administration, said the new electronic sign should be operational by the end of January.
The sign remains blank.
Parrish said the reason it not functional is because there is a missing wire.
When a change was made from a monochromatic sign to a multicolored sign, the connection needed was changed, Parrish said.
He explained the college is at the mercy of the company. Until the wire is shipped and installed, the sign will not work, he said.

It's too bad that it's still not working - it sounds like installing a simple wire would be a quick job.
